Christian Ovís
Christian Ovís works across painting, print, reflection and moving image. Rather than beginning with a fixed medium, each work starts with an idea — with the material, technique and format chosen according to what that idea needs.

Between physical
and digital.
The work does not begin with a medium.
An idea may ask for paint and physical texture. Another may work best as a print, a reflected image or a moving world.
The medium is chosen after the idea — whether that leads to canvas, print, mirrored form or video. Physical and digital processes therefore exist within the same artistic practice rather than as separate worlds.
One practice.
